Children who “age out” of foster care have a 50% chance of graduating high school, a 25% chance of becoming homeless, and 1 in 4 boys will spend time in jail. Helping them find a family while there is still time is an investment in our future.

The need is so great. The numbers are growing.

The Waiting Child Fund is a non-profit organization that was founded in April of 2005. Our mission is to promote the creation of partnerships and collaborations between agencies by raising community awareness and funds to facilitate the adoption of children with special needs.

We envision a future where all public and private agencies are able to achieve the placement and adoption of special-needs children into permanent loving families with the confidence that adequate funding will be available to them.
